For years, people have asked us how they can show off their support for the Honnold Foundation. Sure, you can always use Alex’s Signature Spatula to cook a delicious meal for friends, but, as much as we think Alex’s Spatula is a key multi-use tool for any kitchen, it isn’t the best accessory for your car, laptop, or water bottle.

At the Honnold Foundation, we find ourselves in awe of our partners and the communities they work in. Their ingenuity, creativity, and commitment to making the world a brighter, more equitable place are a continued source of inspiration. We’re committed to celebrating their work— today and every day.

Now, you can celebrate our partners and support the Honnold Foundation by purchasing our limited edition sticker pack, featuring designs by four incredible artists from communities we work in.

When you buy the Honnold Foundation’s sticker pack, 100% of your purchase powers solar energy projects around the world.

Meet Coalfield Development

West Virginia is the top coal producing state in Appalachia — and in 2018, coal-fired power plants accounted for 92% of West Virginia's electricity. At the same time, West Virginian communities are struggling as the coal industry requires fewer skilled workers. All over the state and Appalachia, people are losing their jobs. Coalfield Development was built by and for West Virginians in response to this community crisis. A community-based social enterprise, they invest in neighborhoods facing barriers to prosperity. At their West Edge facility in Huntington, WV, they’re creating jobs for out-of-work coal miners and their children in an attempt to change the future of Appalachia. Meet Casa Pueblo

In response to a proposed open-pit mine in their hometown of Adjuntas, Puerto Rico, husband and wife Alexis Massol and Tinti Deyá gathered community members to oppose the mining and the destruction it would bring to their small, mountain community. Casa Pueblo emerged from this resistance, and over the past forty years has grown into a hub for resilience, education, and environmental advocacy. Housed in a building completely run by solar power since 1999, Casa Pueblo is an outspoken advocate for solar energy's ability to reduce environmental impact and improve human lives. Learn more about the Adjuntas Microgrid Project here.

About the Artist: Bryan "Porta" Portalatín is a graphic designer and graffiti writer from Adjuntas, Puerto Rico. According to Bryan, “In 2008, I grabbed my first spray paint and started this never ending process of learning and trying to be the best version of myself. Follow Bryan's work on instagram.

Meet the Honnold Foundation

The Honnold Foundation supports solar energy for a more equitable world. We partner with organizations whose work reduces environmental impact and increases social and economic equity, and who demonstrate strong ties to the communities they serve. No matter who you are, we believe that energy should be easy to access, affordable, and have a low impact on the natural world.

About the Artist: Danica Mitchell, aka Finletter Creative, is a designer, brand strategist, and founder of Finletter Creative. She believes that brands are like people: no two are alike, and the best ones are authentic, consistent, and thoughtful. She works with clients to intimately understand their brand and what makes it unique, so that we can distill that value down and communicate it in the most effective, honest, and visually compelling way possible.
